The company, Classic Rock Marble & Granite, was created when David & Stephen combined their talents and experience in the summer of 2005. Between them, there is over 45 years of stone and tile installation and fabrication experience.
The conscious choice was made to run and operate a company where each and every job received the highest priority and care. Attention to detail, a high work standard, and excellent customer service brought them subsequent customers, all by referral, that has led to their now well established reputation in the South Sound area.
The shop is located in Rochester, where the stone is brought to be fabricated to the custom fit for each customer's installation. As of this date, there is no showroom or public office. Currently the customers are invited to view the showrooms of the wholesale stone providers located in the Georgetown area of south Seattle.
Classic Rock is a growing company and personal service with each installation is the corner stone of the business. From the beginning, when a potential customer makes their first inquiry, to the completion of the entire project, a customer deals directly with the owners and receives attentive personal service.
"When we thought about starting this company, we wanted to be able to do our work the right way to take the time required to provide the most beautiful stone work for each customer. We didn't want to be held to an unrealistic schedule, where both the customer and our work were short-changed. We take pride in our work, we like happy customers, and we feel the best way to get more customers is to do each job as if it was the only job in the world."
Our projected customer base is the greater South Sound area, occasionally as far north as Tacoma, and as far south as Vancouver. The bulk of our business is granite kitchen countertops, but we do any interior stone work, including tile. We do floor's, fireplaces, shower's, outdoor stonework, such as walkways, patios, and outdoor barbecues. We are there to assist you, from the initial stone selection, through the entire process, up to the completion of the job; we can even help you with stone design.
